Steel Warehouse Supervisor

About the role

The Steel Warehouse Supervisor oversees all distribution processes at Triple-S Steel, including shipping, put-away, cycle counting, picking, packing, and returns.

Responsibilities

• Directs production, shipping, cost, quality, and safety to meet established objectives.
• Determines work force requirements and monitors productivity to meet customer requirements.
• Makes decisions about workflow to meet daily operational objectives.
• Maintains quality, service, and productivity standards through regular monitoring of operations, procedures, and employees.
• Enforces Triple-S Steel policies, including safety, health, environmental, attendance, and others.
• Trains new employees in safety, work assignments, and job responsibilities.
• Enters incident reports and supports INVEX.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Three years’ experience in a distribution environment (preferably steel distribution)
