Steel Fabrication Specialist

About the role

O'Neal Fabrication is seeking a Steel Fabrication Specialist to join our team in Ambridge, PA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in steel fabrication and be comfortable working with various tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Design and fabricate steel components according to blueprints and specifications
• Operate and maintain fabrication machinery and tools
• Assist in the assembly and installation of fabricated steel structures
• Work collaboratively with other trades to ensure project quality and safety

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of related experience in steel fabrication
• Proficiency with basic hand and power tools
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (due to fieldwork)

Qualifications

• Experience with computer-aided design (CAD) software is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and practices

• Proficient in using common fabrication tools and machines

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

Pay

The starting hourly rate is 18 USD, with potential for overtime pay based on company policy.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional weekend work as needed.
