What You'll Do
- Prioritize safe work planning and partner with site safety leaders to identify and correct hazards
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the customer and lead consistent owner’s coordination and reporting meetings
- Establish and maintain the project plan and schedule, setting objectives and performance standards, and monitor compliance
- Prioritize effective and continuous communication across client representatives, A-E representatives, subcontractors, and internal teams
- Manage financial aspects of the project, including projections, invoice processing, cash flow, profitability, self-perform and subcontractor costs, and ensure alignment with the budget while avoiding scope gaps
- Ensure compliance with applicable Labor Agreements
- Cookordinate and oversee weekly subcontractor meetings
- Estimate, price, submit, and negotiate accurate subcontracts and change orders
- Proactively identify and resolve issues to keep the project aligned with the plan
- Plan and manage effective project closeout, ensuring an expeditious and quality handover process
What You'll Bring
- Ability to communicate professionally verbally and written with the ability to lead teams and resolve conflict
- Self-motivated leader with a passion for mentoring and developing teams
- Highly organized with strong planning and analytic skills, attention to detail, and expert attention to detail
- An ability to manage all aspects of a project, including technical, safety, schedule, cost, and financial responsibility
- Proficiency with Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, Primavera P6, Autodesk Build, and Viewpoint Vista software
- Experience in the automotive sector is preferred
Experience
- A Bachelors' degree in Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent combination of technical training and/or related experience
- 7+ years of structural steel experience in heavy industrial project management

Qualifications
- Candidates must be currently eligible to work in the U.S. without further visa sponsorship

- This position requires on-site work
