About the Role

Contribute to the design and development of products, solutions, and systems. Includes activities for technical improvement of existing products and components. Influences departmental operations and is responsible for planning and execution. The role has a degree of autonomy but focuses on executing activities within an operational discipline guided by functional standards and procedures. Some judgment is required, typically under guidance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned projects using sound technical principles and in compliance with business standards, practices, procedures, and product/program requirements. This includes mechanical and/or electrical technical development for all products.
  • Deepen knowledge in a technical discipline.
  • Apply prior experience and acquired technical expertise to implement guidelines and strategies.
  • Apply a solid understanding of key business drivers to guide your own work.
  • Understand how your team’s work integrates with other teams and contributes to the broader function.
  • Exercise judgment to propose solutions outside established parameters, with guidance.
  • Use prior experience and on-the-job training to solve straightforward tasks.
  • Access technical skills and analytical thinking required to solve problems.
  • Leverage multiple internal sources outside your team to make decisions.
  • Serve as an individual contributor with proven interpersonal skills or as emerging leadership talent capable of hiring and developing talent.
  • Provide informal guidance to new team members.

Requirements

  • Advanced experience in the field, comparable to a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma with relevant experience).

Pay

For candidates applying to a U.S.-based position, the pay range is between $89,300.00 and $148,700.00. The company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120%, or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. Bonus eligibility includes a discretionary annual bonus.
