Steam Subject Matter Expert (SME)

About the role

The role of Steam Subject Matter Expert (SME) is crucial in providing technical support and guidance to internal teams and external clients. The SME will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the knowledge base, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring high-quality customer service.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update the company’s knowledge base with accurate and up-to-date information.
• Provide technical support to internal teams and external clients via phone, email, and chat.
• Identify and resolve complex technical issues through research and problem-solving.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of training materials and resources.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent and high-quality service delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in IT support or a related field.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and IT infrastructure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software tools.

Qualifications

• Experience with cloud-based systems and platforms.
• Knowledge of industry-standard IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, etc.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

$50,000 - $60,000 annually.
