Stationary Engineer- Nights

About the role

Located at Nazareth Hospital in Northeast Philadelphia, this full‑time night‑shift position supports the Director in monitoring and supervising hospital facilities, equipment, and staff. Responsibilities

• Assist the Director in the monitoring and supervision of hospital facilities, equipment and staff.
• Perform maintenance involving inspection, greasing, oiling, adjusting and cleaning on pressure boilers, hot water heating systems, and air handling units.
• Dismantle machinery and equipment to gain access to and remove defective parts; repair and replace worn or broken parts.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director.

Requirements

• High school graduate and/or vocational training.
• City of Philadelphia Class “A” Stationary Engineer License.
• Demonstrated proficiency in several trades.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and work from drawings.
• Proficiency in building maintenance techniques.
• Proficiency in the operation of elevators and emergency power generators.
