Station Supervisor - Naperville

Duties And Responsibilities

• Aid the station manager and assistant manager in the operation of the inspection station.
• Offer assistance with the remitter program.
• Assist with manpower needs of the station.
• Perform overt auditing as directed by the station manager or assistant manager.
• Conduct waiver inspections on all applicable vehicles and grant waivers according to IEPA guidelines.
• Travel to other stations as needed to provide staffing support.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the station manager.

• Ability to learn and understand the function of selected emissions control devices.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Able to interact professionally with a diverse population in a variety of situations.
• Able to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook proficiently.
• Able to enter and exit customer vehicles, stoop, bend, and reach.
• Able to work in extreme weather conditions.

Education And Work Experience

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous vehicle inspection experience is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license and good driving record are required.
