Station Mechanic - Nights

Night shift position with a starting pay of $27.95/hour plus a $1/hour shift differential and a $3/hour perfect attendance bonus paid out weekly.

Schedule

• Night shift: 9:00 PM - 7:00 AM, six nights a week (flexibility required)

Responsibilities

• Assist with necessary repairs of equipment, property, and the building
• Maintain accurate communication with other mechanics and departments
• Support basic functions of machinery and equipment for station mechanics and operators
• Effectively use electrical testing equipment
• Identify and communicate opportunities for improvement to supervisors or leads
• Initiate and conduct routine preventative maintenance (PM’s) on equipment with minimal supervision
• Maintain shop 5S policies and cleanliness
• Perform other duties as required

Requirements

• Demonstrated ability to perform basic math skills (addition, subtraction, division, multiplication, percentage calculations)
• Ability to read, write, and speak English
• Ability to pass a Prove It test
• Two years’ experience in the maintenance field preferred
• Ability to work with minimal direct supervision
• Excellent mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities
• Strong communication skills
• Experience operating maintenance power tools
• Knowledge of electric and mechanical procedures
• Flexibility to work weekends as needed
