State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA)

About the role

We invite you to join our team of dedicated professionals who provide exceptional care to our residents. Our facility, Arbors at Mifflin, is one of Ohio's largest providers of long-term care skilled nursing and short-term rehabilitation services.

Responsibilities

• Answers signal lights and bells to determine resident needs.
• Assists residents with grooming, oral hygiene, bathing, hair, and incontinence care.
• Obtains food trays and assists residents with feeding.
• Assists residents with range of motion exercises, and movement to wheelchair or activity areas.
• Assists resident with turning and positioning in bed.
• Ambulates residents for short distances within the facility.
• Takes and records temperature, blood pressure, pulse and respiration rates, and food and fluid intake and output, as directed.
• Performs other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid certification as a CNA in the state of employment.
• Six months experience in a long-term care environment preferred.

Compensation

Starting Wages at $17.50-$24.50 per hour. Wage calculation is based on experience, shift, and a $3/hr weekend warrior program.
