State Tested Nursing Assistant

Aventura at Shiloh Springs is seeking compassionate and dedicated State Tested Nursing Assistants (STNAs) for PRN, full-time, part-time, and weekend warrior shifts (7:30 AM - 7:30 PM or 7:30 PM - 7:30 AM).

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding
• Take and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure) as directed
• Assist residents with mobility, positioning, transfers, and use of assistive devices
• Observe and report changes in residents’ physical or emotional condition to nursing staff
• Answer call lights promptly and provide needed assistance
• Help residents with meals, including tray setup and feeding assistance
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided
• Keep resident rooms clean, organized, and safe
• Provide respectful, compassionate care in accordance with resident care plans
• Follow facility policies, state regulations, and infection control protocols
• Participate in in-service training and continuing education as required

Qualifications

• Valid STNA certification in the state of employment
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• 2-3 years of experience in long-term care or assisted living
• Ability to follow directions and communicate effectively with residents and staff
• Compassionate, dependable, and patient-focused
• Physical ability to lift, move, and assist residents and perform job-related tasks
• Current CPR certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
