State Pre-K Assistant Teacher

About the role

The State Pre-K Assistant Teacher is responsible for instructing 4-year-old's, based on needs of each child, and the requirements of the program. We want change makers who never stop being curious, inventive, and open-hearted to prepare children for Kindergarten and beyond.

Responsibilities

• Caring! Follow all licensing guidelines, company standards and grant program requirements to ensure the daily care of every child in your classroom.
• Engaged! Develop your ability to accurately observe, assess, and plan for children, as well as effectively communicate with families.
• Knowledgeable! Complete extensive training that provides insight on child care, preschool and development topics.
• Creative! Implement curriculum while creating fun, interactive learning experiences for the children.

Requirements

• Absorbed in Early Childhood Education, Child Development or related field with an Associates degree.
• Experience in a licensed childcare center or related field.
• Able to meet state requirements for education and our center requirements.
• Able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Qualifications

• Active CDA in Preschool.

Skills

• Caring and attentive to the needs of children.
• Ability to observe, assess, and plan for children's development.
• Effective communication skills with families.
• Knowledge of early childhood education and development.
• Ability to implement creative and engaging learning experiences.

Pay

Compensation is commensurate with experience.
