About the role
The Kentucky State Park Ranger Division at Natural Bridge State Resort Park seeks a State Park Ranger I. This role involves enforcing state laws on park properties, ensuring guest and property safety, and providing services like trail rescues and first aid.
Responsibilities
- Enforce state laws on Kentucky State Park properties
- Provide services to park guests as needed
- May provide trail rescues, first aid, and general park information
Requirements
- One year of law enforcement experience as a sworn police officer
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Maintain a POPS certificate
Qualifications
- High school graduate
- Must be able to use basic computer programs
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Skills
- Working knowledge of Kentucky Revised Statutes
- Ability to quickly learn park policies and procedures
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently

Pay
Salary range: $2,976.04 - $3,812.68 monthly
