About the role

The Kentucky State Park Ranger Division at Natural Bridge State Resort Park seeks a State Park Ranger I. This role involves enforcing state laws on park properties, ensuring guest and property safety, and providing services like trail rescues and first aid.

Responsibilities

• Enforce state laws on Kentucky State Park properties
• Provide services to park guests as needed
• May provide trail rescues, first aid, and general park information

Requirements

• One year of law enforcement experience as a sworn police officer
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Maintain a POPS certificate

Qualifications

• High school graduate
• Must be able to use basic computer programs
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Skills

• Working knowledge of Kentucky Revised Statutes
• Ability to quickly learn park policies and procedures
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently

Pay

Salary range: $2,976.04 - $3,812.68 monthly
