About the role
The Kentucky State Park Ranger Division seeks a State Park Ranger I at Fort Boonesborough State Park. This position enforces state laws on park properties, ensuring safety and guest protection.
Responsibilities
- Enforce state laws on Kentucky State Park properties.
- Provide services to park guests such as trail rescues, first aid, and general information.
- May assist with park operations as needed.
Requirements
- One year of law enforcement experience as a sworn police officer.
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Maintain a valid driver's license.
- Must possess and maintain a Peace Officer Professional Standards (POPS) certificate.
Qualifications
- High school graduate.
- Substitute Education for Experience: None.
- Substitute Experience for Education: None.
Skills
- Knowledge of Kentucky Revised Statutes.
- Ability to quickly learn park policies and procedures.
- Strong work ethic and self-motivation.
- Basic computer skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Pay
Salary range: $2,976.04 - $4,464.04 monthly.
