Startup Coach, Alpha - $150,000/year USD

About the role

Based on-site in Austin, TX (we provide relocation assistance)

$150,000 annual salary, paid weekly.

The greatest support you can offer a teenager launching a business is refusing to accept mediocrity. You understand that maintaining high standards isn't about applying pressure—it's about demonstrating your genuine belief in the student's capability.

Responsibilities

• Providing 1:1 coaching to student founders on strategy, execution, and scaling decisions — approximately two-thirds of your time
• Analyzing student dashboards, venture progress reports, and academic metrics to assess development and establish clear next steps
• Tracking academic standing and proactively addressing issues when concentration or time management falters
• Designing and delivering workshops with tangible, practical learning outcomes
• Facilitating stand-ups, debriefs, and group sessions that maintain student accountability to self-set objectives

Requirements

• Ready to work on-site at Alpha High School in Austin, TX (we provide relocation assistance)
• Minimum 2 years coaching or developing others (team members, colleagues, or clients) with a concrete example of a coaching relationship and measurable results
• Professional background owning critical outcomes or performance metrics, including at least one example showing $500,000+ in annual revenue impact
• Minimum 1 year working with young people (students, junior professionals, or youth program participants) on initiatives, educational objectives, or entrepreneurial projects
• Legal authorization to work in the United States

Nice-to-have Requirements

• Founded, co-founded, or managed a startup or early-stage venture personally
• Experience in roles such as Chief of Staff, program director, or high-impact individual contributor with end-to-end outcome ownership
• Proficiency using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot) to enhance coaching preparation, data analysis, or communications
• Experience in K-12 education, EdTech, or programs integrating academics with practical application (accelerators, project-based curricula, entrepreneurship initiatives)
