About the role

ProRecruiters is seeking Machinists to join a growing and dynamic team!

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate mills and lathes to produce parts to specification.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings.
• Inspect parts with calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools to make sure they meet quality standards.
• Make tooling and machine adjustments as needed to keep parts within tolerance.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.
• Communicate with the lead machinist and supervisors about production status and any issues.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Work overtime as needed to meet production demands.

Requirements

• Basic machining knowledge; mill and lathe setup and operation.
• Ability to read and use calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments.
• A good attitude and a team-oriented mindset.
• Takes pride in their work and is committed to quality.
• A willingness to learn and grow.

Qualifications

5 years of related machining experience.

Pay

$20 to $35/hour (+$3/hour for working the night shift)

Schedule

Full-time; Contract Schedule Monday-Friday, 7am-3:30pm Monday-Thursday, 3pm-1:30am
