About the role

The position is available as an hourly worker with a starting pay rate of $21.33 per hour. The shift is full-time, Monday through Friday, with some Saturdays. The physical location is at Box 1525 Mt Olive Church Rd., Newton, NC 28658.

Responsibilities

• Counting and stacking finished product
• Reading factory orders
• Accurately reading gauges and other test equipment
• Utilizing basic shop math, including reading a tape measure
• Absolutely ensuring quality and safety
• Being punctual and ready to work for scheduled shifts
• Following instructions, asking questions, and working effectively as a member of a team
• Working daily and Saturday overtime as business conditions require
• Light lifting (up to 25 lbs.), but not exceeding 50 lbs.
• Performing cleaning functions such as blowing down the machine, wiping off shafts, cleaning ink systems, vacuuming and sweeping the machine area, and picking up and shredding scrap

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Willingness to work second shift

• Ability to read a standard tape measure
• Ability to add and subtract all units of measure, read, copy, count and record figures
• Ability to read factory orders
• Standing, walking, reaching at or below shoulder level with frequent twisting, bending and lifting from the ground; repetitive lifting
