Responsibilities
- Ensure proper equipment storage when required
- Interpret and refine technical drawings
- Verify code compliance for all components and systems
- Confirm newly installed equipment is plumb, level, and properly aligned
- Test newly installed equipment to ensure it operates according to engineering or factory specifications
- Check the interface between control systems and connected equipment for seamless functionality
- Maintain detailed reports of all completed work
- Report, document, and follow up on all identified deficiencies, ensuring prompt corrective action
- Submit completed startup forms and documentation to relevant Polk project managers or supervisors
