Start Up Technician

BASIC DUTIES

• Display a thorough understanding of air conditioning principles / systems and the relevant codes and industry standards that govern their maintenance and installation.
• Effectively maintain, diagnose problems, make repairs, and perform work of a technical nature on all air-conditioning systems.
• Ensure compliance with all Company Policies and Procedures.

Safety

• Actively comply with the company’s Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and procedures.

Customer Delight

• Conducts self in a manner conducive to good relationships with customers and other staff as well as ensure that a professional standard of presentation and performance is maintained.
• Proactively address customer complaints and demonstrate competence in establishing and maintaining long-term relationships with customers.

Education

• Maintain thorough industry knowledge and keep abreast of changes and advances in air-conditioning systems and technology.

Standard Of Presentation

• Must wear company provided uniforms and appear neat and clean at all times in accordance with the Company Appearance Policy.
• Maintain a neat, clean, orderly company-supplied service vehicle and company-supplied equipment.

Administrative Duties

• Effectively manage administrative requirements including Field Service Reports, Inventory Usage Report, Quoted Work Forms, Material Request Forms, Survey Forms, Maintenance Logs, Etc. in a professional and timely manner.

Qualifications

• Maintain a valid Vehicle Operators License in the state of employment.
• Maintain Insurable driving record.
• Hold valid EPA certification.
• Maintain valid City of Phoenix Journeyman License (where applicable).

Physical Demands

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands & fingers, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, hear, or smell.
• The employee is occasionally required to sit and taste or smell.
• The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to at least 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include ability to adjust and focus.
