We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Starbucks Shift Supervisor to join our team at our Courtyard by Marriott Baton Rouge Downtown Hotel. As a Shift Lead, you will play a crucial role in leading our Starbucks team, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining operational excellence. Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead a team of baristas during assigned shifts.
• Ensure efficient and smooth operation of the Starbucks store.
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve customer issues promptly.
• Train and coach team members to uphold Starbucks standards.
• Manage inventory, order supplies, and ensure proper stock levels.
• Maintain a clean and organized store environment.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Assist in the implementation of promotions and marketing initiatives.
• Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate financial records.

Requirements

• Experience in a Starbucks, food service role in a restaurant, hotel or similar environment preferred.
• Must have attention to detail with the ability to be thorough in your work.
• Must be able to work independently while maintaining timelines.
• Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to navigate various departments of the organization’s physical premises.
