The Store Manager at Yearly Kessler Richmond Hill is responsible for managing the Starbucks operations, ensuring financial success, building great teams, and fostering a community meeting place. Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing all aspects of daily operations
- Supervising Starbucks personnel
- Responding to guest complaints promptly
- Collaborating with other F&B managers
- Informing the F&B Director of issues
- Coordinating and monitoring Loss Prevention
- Assisting with daily operations, customer service, cleaning, and resolving complaints
- Working with Baristas during peak times
- Providing coaching and direction to the store team
- Preparing and submitting required reports
- Maintaining quality of service and key business indicators
- Participating in menu planning and preparation
- Ensuring compliance with health and sanitation regulations
- Training employees on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Conducting staff performance reviews
- Implementing corporate promotions
- Interviewing candidates for Starbucks positions
- Completing tip reporting
- Ensuring overall guest satisfaction
Qualifications include at least 3 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field, or a combination of a 4-year college degree and 1 year of related experience, or a 2-year college degree and 2 or more years of related experience. Knowledge of F&B preparation techniques, health department rules and regulations, and liquor laws and regulations is essential. Long hours may be required.
