Responsibilities
- Provide prompt, quality coffee selection, purchase, and preparation to customers.
- Maintain and monitor total department conditions to ensure standards are met and exceeded.
- Handle stressful situations calmly, courteously, and tactfully, making a positive impression on associates and customers.
- Execute and adhere to all Starbucks programs, policies, and promotions.
- Operate with a high level of professionalism and clear communication during all customer and associate interactions.
- Perform equipment maintenance and cleaning tasks according to established standards.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including dress code, grooming, sanitation, and maintaining a harassment-free work environment.
- Manage conflict in a reasonable, non-confrontational, and cooperative manner.
- Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
- Follow directions and seek assistance when necessary to resolve customer and business issues.
- Support and assist through direct interaction with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
Qualifications
- Trained and certified barista.
- Dependable past work record reflecting integrity and dependability.
- Prior food handling experience.
- Supervisory skills desired.
