Main Responsibilities
- Deliver friendly, courteous, and helpful customer service while serving as the primary customer contact
- Supervise, train, and schedule Starbucks staff to ensure optimal staffing and adherence to company standards
- Drive department performance by increasing sales, improving profitability, and controlling costs
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and maintain accurate stock levels
- Prepare and serve beverages using coffee and espresso equipment while ensuring quality standards
- Ensure compliance with Safeway and Starbucks policies, procedures, and audit requirements
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards in the café and work areas
- Handle customer concerns and resolve service or product issues professionally
- Operate cash register functions and perform basic cash-office responsibilities
- Complete reporting, logs (e.g., temperature logs), merchandising displays, and other operational duties
