STANDARDIZED PATIENT PRN
JOB SUMMARY
Standardized Patients (SPs) are trained to portray both staff and patient situations, serving as models for learners to train and test on medical, behavioral, and communication competencies. They perform standardized cases, including non-invasive physical exams, and assess learners from a patient/family perspective, providing objective feedback and using checklists or debriefing sessions as directed by faculty. SPs receive training in physical examination techniques, communication competencies and evaluating and giving constructive feedback to learners.
REQUIREMENTS
- Entry level knowledge
- Basic employment skills
- High School diploma: GED equivalent or High School certificate
- At least 1 year of SP experience required
