Standardized Patient
Responsibilities

- Interview prospective Standardized Patient candidates and make decision regarding hiring
- Prepare training materials and train SP for case portrayal
- Manage daily SP activities and needs
- Quality assurance of SP performance
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Standardized Patient and an Associate or Bachelor degree preferred
- Excellent Interpersonal, Communication And Computer Skills Required
- A background as a Standardized Patient or healthcare (EMT, Paramedic, RN) Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator (CHSE or CHSOS) preferred
- Ability to describe essential components of Standardized Patient training
- Basic knowledge of adult learning theories and practices; understanding of medical/healthcare care issues essential to training Standardized Patients
