Stamping Big Room - Production Operator

Essential Functions
- Reads and understands simple blueprints and sketches.
- Manufactures parts to blueprints and/or sketches using Operator Inspection Instructions (OII) as guide.
- Inspects parts produced as instructed by Operator Inspection Instructions (OII), teacher, set-up person, lead-person or supervisor using tools like tape measure, caliper, micrometer, protractor, and documents findings.
- Returns pattern, check fixture, and any documentation forms to proper location upon completion of production operation.
- Stacks parts, cleans machines, or performs other duties as assigned.
- Operates various types and sizes of stamping presses and other machinery safely and efficiently, as directed.
- Enters time/payroll information and job details using software programs.
- Maintains a clean and safe work area by following the Daily Maintenance/Safety Checklist for equipment being operated.
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent, or 18 years of age.
- Passes a math measurement/blueprint test with 85% or better.
- Recent mechanical and shop experience with relevant skills and abilities.
- Knowledge of production process equipment, materials, methods, and practices.
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions, establish and maintain effective working relationships, and demonstrate average math and mechanical skills.

Compensation
Salary Range: OTC4 $18.67-26.12 hourly. The range for this position is being displayed in compliance with all state and local regulations. Salaries are set based on a number of factors including an individual's job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and education. This means that no two candidates are alike. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth. The range provided above does not include additional compensation such as bonus, health benefits, vacation, 401(K) match, etc.
