Responsibilities

• Adapts to a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
• Assists in any phase of Production Shop operations.
• Prepares doors for spraying stage.
• Cleans doors of dust before applying primer.
• Applies paint, varnish, and stain to interior and/or exterior door surfaces.
• Stains and wipes doors of excess.
• Places doors into an oven to dry.
• Finishes doors by spraying clear coat.
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment.
• Performs housekeeping duties including warehouse cleanup.
• Serves and performs regular Preventative Maintenance on paint guns and paint booths as needed.
• Measures and counts products and materials.
• Performs other miscellaneous jobs as directed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years in the field or related area.

Pay

The hourly pay rate range for this position is $20.00 + benefits. Base pay will vary within the range depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

About the Role

Operates a spray-painting system or other equipment to apply industrial paint finishes on metal, fiber glass, wood or vinyl door components. Mixes paints and other solutions and monitors drying to ensure desired results. Completes finishing with baking, polishing or other materials. Set up and maintain the production line for door spraying. Performs general manual labor tasks. Assists a variety of functions with manual labor tasks as needed.
