About the role

The Staging Technician (Trade Shows & Events) plays a critical behind-the-scenes role in bringing brand experiences to life. This position is responsible for the in-house preparation, installation, dismantling, packing, cleaning, and repair of exhibit structures and related components in advance of event execution.

Responsibilities

  • Build & Prepare Exhibit Structures
  • Stage, install, and dismantle exhibits and related components
  • Assemble and construct exhibit structures according to specifications
  • Prepare all required materials and components for internal and onsite execution
  • Review blueprints and technical drawings to determine structure dimensions and build requirements
  • Quality & Execution Review staged projects to ensure accuracy and quality completion
  • Inspect exhibit components for damage, completeness, and readiness
  • Support repairs, cleaning, and refurbishment of exhibit materials
  • Logistics & Coordination Coordinate with internal teams and contractors on inventory, cleaning, repairs, and assembly tasks
  • Maintain organized tracking of exhibit components and materials
  • Follow established time tracking and production reporting processes
  • Safety & Equipment Operation Operate forklifts and aerial lifts (including scissor lifts) safely and effectively
  • Comply with all company, venue, and federal health and safety regulations
  • Maintain clean, safe, and organized work environments
  • Problem Solving & Support Identify and resolve project-related issues as they arise
  • Collaborate with supervisors to ensure timely and effective solutions

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 1–2 years of related experience in staging, fabrication, production, or a similar hands-on environment (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints or technical drawings
  • Experience with exhibit, event, or fabrication builds strongly preferred
  • Forklift and aerial lift (scissor lift) operation experience preferred or required depending on site
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven production environment
  • Team-oriented mindset with strong communication and collaboration skills

Qualifications
