About the role
Collaborate on federal criminal proceedings, primarily in French. Assist the prosecution management in preparing decisions. Prepare and participate in hearings of defendants, persons called to provide information, and witnesses, as well as meetings and file consultations with attorneys. Clarify questions of substantive and procedural law. Assist in the preparation and representation of charges, appeals, coercive measures, requests, legal remedies, and related positions.
What makes you a great fit
- University law degree (Master) obtained in 2026 or no later than the start of the internship (the degree and internship start must not be more than 18 months apart; two years for future attorneys)
- Internship experience of up to six months within the federal administration
- Ability to work precisely and reliably, enjoyment in collaborating with various stakeholders
- Solution-oriented mindset and implementation focus, ability to act independently and take initiative
- Active working knowledge of at least one additional official language and English
