Veltys is a French strategy consulting firm specializing in data intelligence and AI. About the role

You will work on missions addressing strategic challenges, applying data exploitation methods to provide solutions. You will engage with a variety of sectors and collaborate within teams of 2 to 5 consultants per mission, receiving guidance throughout your work. You may contribute to multiple missions simultaneously.

During a mission, you will:

• Participate in client meetings (kickoff, workshops, presentations, etc.)
• Collect, validate, and analyze complex databases
• Contribute to the creation of deliverables (presentations, reports, and memos)
• Help develop strategic recommendations based on data analysis

You will also contribute to the firm’s research and development initiatives.

Requirements

You are a student in a top engineering or business school, or a recognized program with a specialization in statistics and/or quantitative economics. You have a strong interest in consulting and client relations and wish to develop your data & AI skills to address business challenges. You are seeking an internship of at least 5 months.

Skills

Consulting skills:

• Teamwork and strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to explain complex concepts to non-specialist audiences (pedagogy and simplification)
• Analytical and synthesis capabilities
• Strong written and oral communication in French and English
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Data skills:

• Data analysis and visualization
• Proficiency in R and/or Python for data manipulation
• Statistical and/or econometric modeling

Additional valued skills:

• Knowledge of GitLab/GitHub
• Understanding of agentic AI tools

Benefits

• 5 to 6-month full-time internship based in Paris (8th arrondissement)
• One day of remote work per week

• Monthly stipend:
  • €1,300 net for gap-year internships
  • €1,700 net for end-of-studies internships
• Approximately two days of paid leave per month of presence
• Internship topics aligned with your academic program and school requirements

Upon arrival, you will receive training on data processing and deliverable creation. A mentor will support you throughout your internship. Monthly social events (VeltyParty) are organized to foster team bonding.
