About the role
Charentes Tourisme is an agency responsible for developing and promoting sustainable tourism, supporting territories and industries in environmental, social, and sectoral challenges. The agency has been awarded the "Engagé RSE" label from AFNOR in 2023 and aims to become an association with a mission. This involves four main objectives:
- Supporting territories and industries in environmental, social, and sectoral challenges.
- Contributing to balanced tourism through the satisfaction of residents, tourists, and actors.
- Creating conditions for active cooperation and innovation with all partners.
- Making Charentes Tourisme a reference by sharing collective successes and valuing individual expertise within the team.
Responsibilities
Under the responsibility of the Destination Côte Atlantique project manager, you will actively participate in the implementation of the project and your responsibilities will be:
- Marketing & communication (50%)
- Follow up on marketing/communication campaigns targeting key markets (Germany/Switzerland, Netherlands/Flanders Belgium) particularly with the Atout France agency.
- Research and produce content, follow the editorial committee of the public websites and social media networks, in collaboration with the two community managers responsible for German and Dutch regions.
- Participate in the development of programs and travel arrangements for press events.
- Vie du projet & communication interne (50%)
- Write 2 internal newsletters.
- Prepare activity reports and annual summaries.
- Organize meetings, write minutes, and ensure administrative follow-up alongside the project manager.
- Support the project manager during partner visits.
Requirements
With a particular interest in international tourism promotion, you hold a relevant educational background such as Tourism School, Commerce, Marketing, Communication, or University (Licence 3 or Master 1).
- Excellent writing and synthesis skills (Canva and newsletter software like Mailjet, Mailchimp, etc.).
- Project management and collaborative working skills (knowledge of project tools and methods).
- Proficiency in computer applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Drive, Asana).
- Knowledge and practical experience with social media, especially Meta.
- Very good French written and oral skills, and good English level.

Pay
Hourly rate: 4.50 € (applicable from January 1, 2026)
Schedule
Full-time: 35 hours per week, possible travel days, 2 days off per month.
