Staff UX Designer (Research Focus)
About the role
Rocket Communications is an enterprise UX Design company focusing on designing mission-critical applications and systems. We are seeking a Staff UX Designer with a background in research and human factors who enjoys quantitative research.
Responsibilities
- Conduct user research to understand user needs and behaviors
- Design and implement quantitative research methods to gather and analyze data
- Analyze user research data to derive actionable insights and recommendations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate research findings into design solutions
- Support the development of user personas, journey maps, and other design artifacts
- Work closely with product managers and developers to ensure designs meet business goals and technical feasibility
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in UX/UI Design in enterprise or other complex domains
- Expertise in quantitative user research with a nuanced understanding of the full human-centered design process
- A 4-year degree with an advanced degree preferred
- Active Secret Clearance and willingness to obtain TS/SCI Clearance
- Willingness to work a hybrid schedule including onsite work in Colorado Springs, CO
- US Citizen living in the USA (due to Rocket's work with local and federal government agencies)

Pay
Your actual pay for this role will be based on your skills, experience, and location. The compensation package features an annual revenue bonus, contingent upon the company's financial success for the year.
Schedule
This is a hybrid role in Colorado Springs, CO. Due to the nature of our work, this person needs to already have an Active Secret Clearance and be willing & able to obtain TS/SCI Clearance if hired.
