Staff Therapist – Adult Services Team
for section headings like About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. Use only sections that have real content.
We must not repeat job title as heading. No Job ID. Remove boilerplate: EQUAL OPPORTUNITY, etc. Also remove application instructions (none). Remove duplicated lines.
We need to preserve substantive info: Department, reports to, location, hybrid work arrangement, FLSA classification maybe not needed? It's metadata; we can fold into short p.
We need sections: About the role (maybe from THE ROLE paragraph). Responsibilities (Essential Job Responsibilities and Optional Job Responsibilities). Qualifications (Summary Of Qualifications, Minimum Hiring Specifications). Skills (Knowledge and Skills). Benefits (The Family Institute provides competitive benefits...). Pay (Compensation details). Schedule? Not given explicitly; maybe mention ability to work some evenings and Saturdays (that's schedule). So we can include Schedule section with that detail.
We must not create sections with filler like "not specified". So only include if content.
We need to use - for any list of duties/requirements/benefits. So responsibilities list, qualifications list maybe, skills list, benefits list.
We need to use
for prose.
We must not include markdown fences.
Let's extract content.
Organization description: "Through clinical services, education, and research, The Family Institute at Northwestern University is one of the nation’s leading relationship-based behavioral health organizations committed to strengthening and healing children and adolescents, couples, families, and individuals. When you join The Family Institute, you are joining a team of over 230 collaborators comprised of clinicians, educators, researchers, therapists-in-training, partners, and administrators across three service sites. We are a strong, independent organization focused on advancing the world of behavioral health. Learn more about our culture."
We can put that under About the role? Actually About the role could be the description of the role: "Provide mental health care that may include work with individuals, couples, and families that supports the mission of The Family Institute, the vision for Clinical Services and is in keeping with The Family Institute’s core organizational values."
But we also have THE ORGANIZATION paragraph. Could be part of About the role or separate About the organization. Since only allowed headings are those listed, we can put organization info under About the role (maybe as intro). Or we could create a section "About the role" containing both role description and organization info.
Responsibilities: Essential Job Responsibilities list (multiple sentences). Also Optional Job Responsibilities list.
We need to make a list: each responsibility as
- . Could combine essential and optional? Probably separate but still list.
Qualifications: Summary Of Qualifications (knowledge and skills) and Minimum Hiring Specifications (Master's degree, one-year post-grad experience, ability to work some evenings and Saturdays). Also maybe include licensure? Not given.
Skills: Knowledge and Skills list (the bullet list under Knowledge and Skills). That's similar to qualifications but we can treat as Skills.
Benefits: "The Family Institute provides competitive benefits, including health, a 403(b) retirement savings plan, generous time off, and professional development. For a more inclusive list of benefits, please visit our Careers page at https://www.family-institute.org/about-us/careers"
We should include that as list? It's a sentence; we can make
- for each benefit: health, 403(b) retirement savings plan, generous time off, professional development. Also note link maybe as but not required? We can include link inside li.
Pay: Compensation details: base salary range for unlicensed and licensed, plus variable compensation model, ramp period, etc. We'll include as prose or list? Probably prose.
Schedule: ability to work some evenings and Saturdays (from Minimum Hiring Specifications). Also hybrid work arrangement from home office and any office location in Chicago, Evanston, or Northbrook. That's schedule/location. We'll put schedule section with those details.
We must not include FLSA classification maybe as metadata in p.
Let's craft HTML.

About the role
Through clinical services, education, and research, The Family Institute at Northwestern University is one of the nation’s leading relationship-based behavioral health organizations committed to strengthening and healing children and adolescents, couples, families, and individuals. When you join The Family Institute, you are joining a team of over 230 collaborators comprised of clinicians, educators, researchers, therapists-in-training, partners, and administrators across three service sites. Pay
Compensation is based on a number of factors, including scope and responsibilities, applicable work experience, licensure status, key skills and qualifications, and internal and external market considerations. Staff Therapists are compensated through a base salary plus variable compensation model. The base salary range for this position is $44,886 to $71,832 for unlicensed applicants and $59,848 to $91,171 for licensed applicants, based on licensure tier and years of clinical experience. New Staff Therapists are paid a fixed salary during a 24‑week ramp period while building their caseload. After ramp, Staff Therapists move to base salary plus variable compensation based on clinical productivity, which can meaningfully increase total earnings above base. Details of the full compensation structure, including variable pay potential, are reviewed during the interview process.
Schedule
Hybrid work arrangement: split time between home office and any office location in Chicago, Evanston, or Northbrook. Ability to work some evenings and Saturdays as needed.
We must ensure no duplicate content. We included ability to work some evenings and Saturdays both in Qualifications and Schedule; that's okay but maybe redundant. Could move that to Schedule only and remove from Qualifications. But Qualifications needed minimum hiring specs: Master's degree, one-year post-grad experience, ability to work some evenings and Saturdays. We could keep ability in Qualifications and also mention in Schedule; it's okay but maybe duplicate. The instruction: "Preserve ALL substantive information; do NOT invent or summarize away detail." Duplication is not prohibited but maybe better to avoid. However we can keep it in both places; it's still preserving. But we could move ability to Schedule and keep Qualifications without that line. However the Minimum Hiring Specifications includes that ability; we should preserve it. So we need to include it somewhere. We could keep it in Qualifications and not repeat in Schedule (just mention hybrid). But Schedule section should have real specific content; we can still have schedule with hybrid arrangement and maybe mention evenings/Saturdays there as well. It's okay to repeat.
We need to ensure we didn't include boilerplate like EEO etc. We removed.
Check for any leftover like "FLSA CLASSIFICATION: [EXEMPT]" we omitted; that's metadata not required; we could fold into short p but not needed. We can omit.
Check for any duplicated lines: we didn't repeat the organization description twice.
Check for any placeholders like "commensurate with experience" - none.
Check for any missing info: we didn't include "Learn more about our culture." we kept as part of prose.
Check for "Apply AI and/or automation tools..." we included.
Check for "Optional Job Responsibilities" we made optional items.
Check for "Summary Of Qualifications Knowledge and Skills" we split into Qualifications and Skills; but we might have lost some nuance: The Summary Of Qualifications includes "Knowledge and Skills" bullet list; we treated that as Skills. The Minimum Hiring Specifications we treated as Qualifications. That's fine.
Check for "Experience working with couples and families." we included in Skills.
Check for "Understanding of personal and professional boundaries" included.
Check for "Organizational skills" included.
Check for "Time and stress management skills" included.
Check for "Communication skills to include interpersonal, teamwork, and collaboration skills." included.
Check for "Computer literacy" included.
Check for "Problem solving skills" included.
Check for "Possess a training background and clinical experience that are empirically informed, theoretically grounded, and systemically oriented." included.
Check for "Must be able to compose written reports clearly and effectively" etc from PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS. We omitted those! That's substantive information; we need to include them somewhere. They are physical/mental requirements. Could be part of Requirements section? We have no Requirements heading but we could add a Requirements section for those. The allowed headings include Requirements. So we should
for prose. We must not include markdown fences. Let's extract content.
