About the role

As a Staff Technical Program Manager within the Vehicle Development – Powertrain, Thermal, & Electrical Engineering team, you will be responsible for managing complex technical programs that drive innovation in vehicle systems. You will lead cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, on-time projects while ensuring alignment with company goals.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage multiple technical programs across powertrain and thermal engineering domains.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers, designers, suppliers, and other program managers.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Facilitate regular status meetings and provide updates to senior management.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with technical programs.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance program efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in technical program management or engineering.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading complex technical programs.
  • Experience in powertrain and/or thermal engineering domains is highly desirable.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in Engineering, Science, or related field preferred.
  • Experience with project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations relevant to powertrain and thermal engineering.
  • Experience with tools and software used in technical program management.
