About the role

The Aurora Driver will create a new era in mobility and logistics, bringing a safer, more efficient, and more accessible future to everyone. This role is within the OneTech Security Product Management team, which is dedicated to embedding security into every aspect of Aurora's products.

Responsibilities

  • Drive security strategy and initiatives across the organization, ensuring security is a fundamental and functional part of Aurora's product development process.
  • Act as a bridge between Security and Product teams, moving seamlessly between high-level strategy and detailed execution to ensure complex, cross-functional security is successfully integrated into Aurora's products.
  • Lead security integration by developing and executing security assurance, governance, and risk management programs, ensuring they are deeply embedded into all phases of product development.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to product and security risks, ensuring transparency and data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in Technical Product, Program, or Product Management roles, preferably in the automotive or AV domain, and also in cybersecurity.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a STEM field or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience developing product strategies, building product use cases, leading large-scale programs with an emphasis on project management, requirements management, and integrating hardware and software features into complex products.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional product teams.
  • Hands-on experience participating and directing product development.

Qualifications

  • Advanced certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent.

SkillsExperience building and scaling product programs from the ground up, particularly in product-focused environments or industries with stringent security requirements.
  • Strong knowledge of auto industry security standards and regulations (e.g. ISO21434).
  • Proven ability to lead broad organizational changes.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, particularly in a product context.

    Aurora offers a competitive base salary range of $181,000 - $262,000 per year, along with an annual bonus, equity compensation, and benefits. Aurora operates in a hybrid work environment where employees are required to be in the office at least 3 days per week.     Pay

    The base salary range for this position is $181,000 - $262,000 per Year. Aurora’s pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, the successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on factors including job-related skills, experience, qualifications, relevant education or training, and market conditions.

    Schedule
