Staff Systems Engineer (Architect)
About the role
The Senior IT Systems Engineer, M&A will own the end-to-end technical integration experience for all CoreWeave acquisitions. This role involves designing and executing scalable, secure, and repeatable M&A integration frameworks, from technical due diligence through day-one readiness and post-close stabilization. This role is highly visible and cross-functional, requiring deep technical expertise across identity, SaaS platforms, and enterprise IT systems.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain CoreWeave’s M&A playbooks, runbooks, operating frameworks, and tooling to enable repeatable and predictable integrations.
- Own the full technical M&A lifecycle, including IT due diligence, day-one integration, and post-close stabilization.
- Build and execute detailed integration roadmaps with clear milestones, risk tracking, and stakeholder visibility.
- Partner closely with Enterprise Security to ensure all integrations meet CoreWeave’s security and compliance standards.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for enterprise collaboration platforms including Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Slack, Zoom, Teams, Box, GitHub, and SharePoint.
- Design and implement modern identity architectures, including Active Directory, Entra ID, Okta, SSO/MFA, SAML, OAuth, SCIM, and identity federation models.
- Execute tenant-to-tenant migrations, coexistence strategies, and service rationalization plans.
- Drive consolidation to CoreWeave-standard platforms to improve operational simplicity and scalability.
- Participate in on-call rotation as a senior escalation point for IT engineering issues.
- Continuously improve tooling, automation, documentation, and integration processes.
- Communicate clearly and proactively with executives, cross-functional partners, and acquired organizations.
Requirements
- 7–10+ years of experience in enterprise IT engineering, systems administration, or systems architecture.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience leading M&A technical integrations or large-scale SaaS and tenant migrations.
- Deep technical expertise in:
- SaaS collaboration platforms (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Slack, Zoom, etc.).
- Modern identity systems (Active Directory, Entra ID, Okta).
- Authentication and access controls including SSO, MFA, Conditional Access, Device Trust, and Zero Trust principles.
- Strong automation and scripting skills using PowerShell, Python, Golang, or similar languages.
- Experience with configuration management and infrastructure-as-code frameworks such as Terraform and Ansible.
- Experience implementing observability and monitoring for SaaS and core IT systems.
- Proven ability to produce clear technical documentation and lead complex, cross-functional technical initiatives.
Preferred Experience
- Integrating rapidly scaling, cloud-native, or high-growth organizations.
- Experience with API-based integration and automation platforms (e.g., Workato).
- Hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure identity and related networking integrations.
- Relevant certifications (Microsoft/Azure, Okta, AWS, GCP, Security+, ITIL).
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, SOX, and GDPR.

Pay
The base salary range for this role is $188,000 to $275,000. The starting salary will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location.
