Responsibilities
- Perform survey computations, data processing, and CAD drafting for boundary, topographic, and construction surveys.
- Aid in preparing plats, legal descriptions, ALTA/NSPS surveys, and easement exhibits.
- Interpret deeds, plats, and title documents to support boundary analysis.
- Support field crews with technical guidance and quality control of collected data.
- Maintain accurate records of field notes, digital files, and project documentation.
- Participate in QA/QC reviews and ensure deliverables meet technical and regulatory standards.
- Communicate with project managers and clients to clarify scope and resolve technical issues.
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to internal technical development initiatives.
Engineering Responsibilities
- Prepare engineering plans, specifications, and cost estimates for municipal and land development projects.
- Assist with roadway rehabilitation, utility infrastructure, water and sewer improvements, and site development projects.
- Perform engineering analyses and calculations related to grading, drainage, stormwater management, and utility design.
- Support development plan reviews for compliance with local zoning, engineering, and infrastructure requirements.
Requirements
- Associate or Bachelor’s Degree
- SIT (Survey In Training) Certificate Required
- 2+ years of experience
- Combination of office and field work
- Field assignments may involve exposure to varying weather and terrain conditions
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to lift and carry equipment and materials up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to work in remote locations and potentially rugged terrain
- Valid driver’s license with ability to drive

Pay
The starting salary for this position is $85,000, with final compensation determined based on qualifications, experience, and licensing status.
