Staff Software Engineer (Generalist)

Responsibilities

• Arcitect and lead development of core systems, including real-time job matching algorithms
• Own architecture decisions and advise on future product and infrastructure needs
• Manage CI/CD workflows using Docker and Github, focusing on automation
• Build analytics and monitoring for user experience and application health
• Enhance backend application performance through measurement and optimization
• Contribute across various functions to support the founding team
• Engage in a dynamic, startup environment focusing on light industrial staffing

Qualifications

• 7+ years experience with Typescript/Node.js or Python
• Proficient with RabbitMQ or Kafka, and PostgreSQL or similar
• Proven history of delivering products at scale and high velocity
• Strong expertise in API design
• Familiarity with Docker, Github Actions, and Datadog
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, early-stage team environment
