Staff Software Engineer, Dev Ops

For our client, a leader in the Information Technology space, we are seeking a Staff Software Engineer in DevOps to join their team. This role focuses on cloud-enabled scalability, reliability, and delivery excellence, working across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead DevOps initiatives across engineering teams as a technical authority
• Define architectural standards for infrastructure and deployment automation
• Drive strategic initiatives enhancing scalability and platform performance
• Mentor engineers and provide technical guidance organization-wide
• Design and optimize CI/CD pipelines to accelerate software delivery
• Partner with development teams to improve build and release processes
• Architect and maintain highly available environments across AWS and Azure

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
• 8+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure and software delivery
• Demonstrated success in leading DevOps and cloud modernization initiatives within SaaS
• Experience architecting fault-tolerant systems for critical workloads
• Ability to influence technical strategy and best practices
• Expertise in microservices architectures and cloud-native design principles

Pay

$120,000 – $150,000 annually
