About the Opportunity:The STAFF SOFTWARE ENGINEER (CUSTOMER PLATFORM) leads the development and ownership of critical backend systems that connect customers, partners, and internal products to the organization's secure software supply chain. This role impacts the entire company by managing APIs, entitlements, policies, and platform components foundational to customer interactions and internal integrations. It requires technical leadership to solve complex problems and guide a team through design, implementation, and iteration of these platform services. Responsibilities:Own feature development end-to-end, collaborating closely with Product Management and partner teams.Design, build, and maintain backend systems including Go-based REST/gRPC APIs for entitlement, policy, and customer onboarding services.Act as the primary technical liaison between Customer Platform and other engineering teams, facilitating integration.Extend AI capabilities into customer-facing product features.Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering team members.Contribute to a product-driven roadmap with clear priorities and iterative delivery. Requirements:Experience with production Go development.Strong ownership of API design and backend systems deployed at scale.Proven ability to work across multiple teams to align technical standards and infrastructure.Ability to operate effectively within ambiguous situations by proposing solutions and plans.Demonstrated mentoring and technical guidance skills without formal management responsibilities.Familiarity with cloud-native environments such as Kubernetes and cloud provider APIs is a plus.Experience with entitlements, billing systems, or platform infrastructure is advantageous.Prior experience building or extending AI-powered product features is desirable.
