Responsibilities
- Improve efficiency of large-scale shared environments like Kubernetes
- Enhance performance of the distributed systems that drive the company
- Develop and mature profiling and optimization capabilities
- Collaborate with Infrastructure Engineering and SRE teams for resilient tech foundations
- Leverage AI to accelerate performance investigations
- Build tooling for self-service efficiency insights
- Iterate and validate optimization approaches with experiments
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience
- Deep understanding of infrastructure capacity and performance
- Experience leading large-scale efficiency initiatives on Kubernetes
- Strong technical and performance engineering skills
- Proficiency in software development languages like Java, Python, and C++
- Excellent communication skills for complex technical issues
- Experience with AWS or similar cloud environments
- Ability to leverage AI for workflow improvement
