Staff Software Engineer, Backend (Trust and Safety)

For our client, we are seeking a Staff Software Engineer, Backend (Trust and Safety) to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This role will shape backend strategy for critical systems that support safety, reliability, and scalable operations across the organization. You will partner closely with product management, design, and analytics to balance technical risk, define practical solutions, and guide major initiatives from planning through execution. The position also calls for strong technical leadership in system design, operational readiness, and team development within a highly distributed environment.
