About the role

Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design and development of Squarespace products
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, engineering, design, and marketing
- Identify and implement improvements to enhance user experience
- Stay updated with industry trends and technologies relevant to web development and user interface design
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience in software development or a related field
- Strong understanding of web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React or Angular
- Experience with version control systems such as Git
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in debugging and testing code
Qualifications
- Experience with front-end development and user interface design
- Knowledge of responsive design principles and mobile-first development
- Understanding of accessibility standards and practices
- Experience with databases and backend technologies (e.g., Node.js, Express)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
