Staff Software Engineer

Accountabilities

• Take ownership of building and evolving critical product capabilities while helping shape the technical direction of the organization.
• Collaborate across teams, contribute to engineering excellence, and create scalable solutions that deliver value to users.
• Design, develop, and maintain the web application end-to-end, delivering reliable and high-quality user experiences.
• Create intuitive interfaces in collaboration with design teams to simplify complex workflows and improve usability.
• Develop APIs that integrate and deliver data from multiple internal and external sources.
• Extract, transform, and manage data from third-party APIs and connected systems.
• Influence product strategy by providing technical insights, shaping the roadmap, and helping prioritize impactful features.
• Plan and execute development sprints while remaining responsive to customer feedback and evolving business needs.
• Establish foundational engineering frameworks, processes, and systems that enable efficient scaling.
• Contribute to team growth by participating in technical interviews and supporting hiring decisions.
• Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional partners to maintain strong engineering standards and a customer-focused mindset.

Requirements

• Experienced software engineer who thrives in early-stage environments, enjoys solving complex technical challenges, and combines strong engineering skills with product-oriented thinking.
• Proven experience designing and implementing production-grade web applications.
• Strong background in API development, integrations, and relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
• Proficiency with Node.js, JavaScript, React, and TypeScript.
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies, architectures, and technical challenges.
• Strong understanding of modern software development practices and scalable application design.
• Product-minded approach with a focus on delivering elegant solutions that solve real customer problems.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with engineering, design, and product teams.
• Nice-to-have experience with technologies such as GraphQL, Elasticsearch, headless browsers, or data pipelines.
