Staff Software Engineer, AI & App Experience

Responsibilities

• Set the technical direction for LLMs and architect agent systems
• Design and build scalable member-facing capabilities for Jade
• Develop frameworks for safe and confident LLM feature delivery
• Harden backend services and tooling for reliability and performance
• Champion AI-native development practices within the team
• Drive experimentation and make data-informed decisions
• Mentor engineers and uphold high coding standards

Qualifications

• 8+ years of backend or full-stack software development experience
• Deep expertise in system design and architectural patterns for high-scale systems
• Proficiency in Python or comparable frameworks
• Hands-on experience with LLM-powered product features at production scale
• Experience with transactional databases and caching systems
• Demonstrated technical leadership across teams
• A product mindset and bias toward action for rapid iteration

$223,000 – $308,000 annually
