About the role

As a backend/AI engineer at Aircall, you will be working on developing scalable AI applications to be used by our 20,000+ customers. You will be a part of the AI Products Platform team, working on areas like agent context, agent infrastructure, MCP, and agent memory. You will work closely with backend, frontend, and infrastructure engineers, as well as product and leadership teams. You will also participate in requirements analysis and design of these systems.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in back-end development with Python, TypeScript/Node.js, or Java, with a focus on delivering for security, scalability, availability, and performance
• Knowledge of AI and experience in AI is a strong plus:
  • Knowledge about LLMs (GPT, Mistral, Llama, Claude, etc.) and experience developing with them (usage, prompting, etc.)
  • AI frameworks (Langchain, LlamaIndex, AutoGen, etc.)
  • AI architectures (RAG, reranking, etc.)
• Security is at the forefront of your mind in everything that you do
• Nice to have: Experience working with AWS in a production environment and understanding how to design for, deploy on, and optimize the services provided by Amazon

Pay

Base Salary Range $195,000 - $250,000 USD
