Staff Site Reliability Engineer

For our client, a leader in the Aerospace & Defense space, we are seeking a Staff Site Reliability Engineer to lead technical work focused on cloud-enabled scalability, reliability, and delivery excellence. You will collaborate across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions, influencing architecture, execution quality, and long-term technology capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Build, operate, and troubleshoot production Kubernetes/EKS clusters
• Manage AWS infrastructure including VPCs and load balancers
• Define infrastructure using Terraform
• Operate CI/CD and deployment infrastructure
• Troubleshoot production issues across various platforms
• Build monitoring and observability for infrastructure
• Participate in on-call rotations and respond to incidents

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering or equivalent role
• Strong hands-on experience operating Kubernetes, not just deploying applications
• Experience managing production Kubernetes/EKS upgrades
• Solid understanding of AWS infrastructure including VPCs and load balancers
• Proficient with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform
• Experience maintaining CI/CD systems such as GitHub Actions or Jenkins
• Ability to diagnose production infrastructure and networking issues

Pay

$240,000 – $300,000 annually
