Staff/Senior Accountant

About the role

Sue Sumrell is recruiting for a Staff or Senior Accountant (DOE) to join a high-performing corporate accounting team where you'll have a direct impact on the business.

Responsibilities

• Own revenue accounting for sales, parts, service, wholesale transactions, and trades
• Reconcile manufacturer warranties, rebates, holdbacks, and incentive programs
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close activities
• Analyze revenue trends and investigate discrepancies
• Support audits, strengthen internal controls, and drive process improvements
• Partner with finance, sales, parts, and service leadership teams

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 2+ years of accounting experience (Staff Accountant) or 4+ years (Senior Accountant)
• Strong understanding of GAAP and account reconciliations
• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience in high volume and fast paced corporations
• Experience with ERP conversions a plus
