Staff RN - Stepdown Unit - Full Time Night Shift

Job Summary Provides safe, therapeutic nursing care to acutely ill patients, utilizing the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Works as part of an interdisciplinary team, delegating tasks appropriately to licensed and unlicensed staff based on their competencies. Maintains adherence to nursing standards, demonstrates critical behaviors, and actively participates in organizational quality improvement initiatives. Possesses IV therapy and medication administration competencies, with current RN licensure and BLS certification. Supports unit goals by fostering teamwork, professionalism, and positive patient interactions, embodying organizational values. Performs routine duties as assigned by leadership, contributing to a collaborative work environment. Qualifications & Skills Associate’s Degree in Nursing (Bachelor’s preferred)Minimum 1 year acute care RN experience, with current RN licensure in the relevant departmentBasic computer skills requiredCertifications: RN license (CA), BLS Healthcare Provider This role requires a dedicated, competent nurse committed to high-quality patient care and teamwork within a dynamic healthcare setting.
