Responsibilities

• Independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines
• Adheres to the scope of practice defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations
• Current American Heart Association Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree
• Two (2) years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN)
• Additional life support credentials (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications relevant to specific units
• Visual color acuity as required for the role in specific units
