Staff RN - Labor and Delivery - Part Time 12 Hours Nights (7:00PM to 7:30AM) (Union, Non-Exempt)

About the role

A clinically competent, registered, professional nurse who utilizes the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide safe, therapeutic care to patients. Services provided are for acutely ill patients with medical/surgical diagnoses or maternal child health, which are the primary reasons for admission. Functions as a member of the interdisciplinary and nursing teams; carries out established nursing procedures and performs nursing care for patients with complex, multisystem needs.

Requirements

• Minimum Education: Associate’s Degree Nursing Graduate of nursing program
• Preferred Education: Bachelor’s Degree Nursing BSN
• Minimum Skills: Possess basic computer skills
• Required Certifications: Registered Nurse - RN (CA Board of Registered Nursing), Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider from American Heart Association, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Healthcare Provider from American Heart Association, Advanced Fetal Monitoring NRP from American Heart Association
